DIRTY PRETTY THINGS / THE LIBERTINES (DJ set)
Gary Powell, the powerhouse behind Dirty Pretty Things and formerly the drummer for The Libertines, Eddy Grant and also the New York Dolls for their 2004 reunion shows headlines the night playing the finest indie tunes around.

REFLECTIONS OF ELEPHANTS
Reflections of Elephants return (once again!), for those who didn’t catch them previously, here’s the blurb; inspired by the music of At The Drive-In, Fugazi, Karate and Sonic Youth, they are known for complex and interwoven guitar riffs, chord sequences and melodies that often change throughout songs.

For fans of: Biffy Clyro, Reuben, Million Dead
Listen here: http://www.myspace.com/reflectionsofelephants

VON JERGO
Tracing a lineage back to The Stooges and Ramones that runs through to Jesus & Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine with a smattering of Sonic Youth for good measure, Billericay band Von Jergo are noisesmiths of the finest order. Garage rock guitars swirl and howl over pounding rhythms while a natural born frontman strikes some classic rock god moves.

For fans of: The Horrors, My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth
Listen here: http://www.myspace.com/vonjergo

EVANS THE DEATH
Another homecoming show, for one member at least, this Chelmsford/Clapham indie pop duo formed in July 2008 and despite their young age they’ve already supported the likes of Johnny Foreigner and Flashguns.

For fans of: Emmy The Great, Laura Marling, Kate Nash Listen here: http://www.myspace.com/evansthedeath
