The Sailplanes, one of London's better bands, seek shows

timhulio [Edit] [Delete] 14:38, 11 February '10

Dear friendly promoter

I play in The Sailplanes, a London-based rock band with 2 girls and 2 boys.
We've got a brilliant set of new songs, a new bass player and we're all rehearsed-up.

Wanna help us play some decent gigs?

We've released music on Small Town America, Silver Rocket and an album on our own label. We've also played quite a few shows mainly in London and Berlin.

Have a look at some of the reviews we got:

Album review for A Second, Or Ten Years Later:
"If these songs had appeared on Rather Ripped, Sonic Youth fans would be proclaiming the album to be a return to Goo-era quality." (Drowned in Sound)

Live review at the Brixton Windmill
"Visually I find them incredibly striking in a rather unorthodox way...and their energy seems totally natural. There are bands out there that would kill to even contrive an effect half as well." (23 Doves)
