A word of warning/caution

allwaystired [Edit] [Delete] 20:50, 19 July '10

There's been a few examples recently of people posting on forums advertising festival tickets, giving an email address to contact if you want to buy them, contacting people privately and telling them to put the money in their account and obviously scamming them.
There was a recent poster on this site who was advertising green man tickets and contacted my mate saying the same. My mate asked if he had Paypal and obviously he didn't. My mate said "no thanks then".
The same person posted again today, new member, no posts before, slightly different email address. I commented and he removed his post pronto.
I'm not saying that this person, or anyone else is dodgy, just thought I'd make people aware of what's going around.
Good deed done!
