Hold Your Horse Is bring to mind all of the glorious bands of old such as Crackout, Rival Schools, thisGIRL, yourcodenameis:milo.. amongst others that have fallen by the way-side over the years, yet who have helped forge our alt-rock scene as we know it on the quiet; mixing it up with the out-and-out balls of our other favourites Dinosaur Pile Up to culminate in what has to be one of the most exciting ensembles I’ve come across in years. Consisting only of Tobias Hayes, former frontman of MMiSL, the project is an incredibly stripped down affair, but that’s only in it’s favour given how damn good this man’s lyrics are.

Hymns are Sam from Blakfish's new band along with awesoem drummer Pete Reisner who some of you may remember as the guy that joined shapes behind the kit at the Chameleon a while back for Trampled by a horse. in their own words "Hymns are a 2 piece Rock band based around the Midlands. And no, we're not religious, not in any way what-so-ever"
