buttonpusher [Edit] [Delete] 16:08, 20 September '10

MASTER & THE MULE - http://www.myspace.com/masterandthemule

(Formerly known as Immune) Master and The Mule’s music in basic terms is usually dark, heavy, slightly unusual guitar based rock music. A few odd time signatures are often the foundation, and various noises of synthetic or organic source usually make up the rest. in their previous incarnation the guys toured with Oceansize, Pelican, God is an astronaut and many more.

8mm ORCHESTRA - http://www.myspace.com/8mmorchestra

8mm Orchestra live up to their name in sound, not numbers.
The Nottingham five-piece utilise the usual Rock band line-up whilst expanding their Post-Rock inspired sound with as many instruments as they can find or play.
The stage shows consist of melodic, atmospheric waves to huge distorted walls of sound using guitars & drums along with an array of effects & sampled creations, occasionally accompanied by live visuals.
FFO - Explosions in the sky, 65 days of static

SHAPE LT. - http://www.myspace.com/shapelt

Two massive guitars, a thunder-like bass and some furious drums are flooding ears and minds with a thick sound, bridging many genres such as; 70's prog rock, hard rock, fusion. Couple this with a jazzy touch and an exotic after-taste, then boost it with a sharp modern energy and you have a close approximation of the Shape Lieutenant sound.
FFO - The Mars Volta
