Hi guys, just wanted to let you all know about our festival for unsigned bands which takes place next year.

The Surface Festival is a European live music event that brings bands and artists to the attention of all aspects of the music industry. We are a festival of new music held throughout Europe in aid of discovering and promoting new talent.

The Surface Festival 11 is working in association with Zimbalam, Marshall, Ents24.com, Last.FM, Ashdown, Planet Waves, D'Addario, PMT, Tama, Zildjian, Shure, Univibe, Dominic Nicholls Photography, Sziget Fest, Jumbocruiser, Gigs on Air and Oxjam to develop alternative ways for bands and artists to gain exposure and develop their fan base.

In 2011 events will be held in cities throughout the U.K. and Europe, including London, Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol, Newcastle, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Barcelona and Budapest. For bands and artists that reach the final stages of the Festival, both Surface and our sponsors will award with Industry Showcases, Recording and Production Deals, Professional Photo Shoots, Cash, Endorsements and much more. The prizes in store for 2011 are in excess of £100,000.

The Surface Festival provides the venue, technical organization, sound technician, stage manager, lighting technician, presenter and every other aspect of organization i.e. the P.A., microphones, stage monitors, etc. We also provides the full backline (guitar & bass amps, full drum set incl. cymbals, stands, drum stool and kick pedals).
