Live Music from:

ZUNZUNEGUI
www.myspace.com/zunzunegui
Describing the awesome Bristol afrobeat collective Zun Zun Egui is next to impossible in comparison to actually witnessing them first hand. Led by Mauritian troublemaker and visionary Kushal D (who Nottm folks might remember from Designer Babies), their sound is one of total, brain-melting euphoria. They morph together the irresistible Highlife rhythms of Fela Kuti with a post-Hendrix style of unique and intuitive guitar playing that puts the anally retentive math rockers masquerading as 'afrobeat' to shame. And that's before we even get to Kushal's ecstatic wail. Their sound is untameable, like some beast that no one member has control of but they all just hang on for dear life and enjoy the ride. They blow minds and really, really funk up armpits. They're that good. To quote You Tube user 'Tom' "SHIT I have watched this video five times in a row, really makes me want to whack a fat mambo bell". Indeed.

SUN ARAW
www.myspace.com/sunaraw
Sun Araw blends the cosmic ambience of John Coltrane’s ‘Interstellar Space’ LP with the fuzzy drug riffs of Spacemen 3 into a blissful mass of ragged sound.

"A drugged out, bluesy blend of face melting drones, fuzzed out guitar riffs, and repetitive clangy rhythms. Ritualistic and somehow modern, Sun Araw walks the line between pop and drone."
-- Aquarius Records

PLEASE
www.myspace.com/pleees
London based trio mixing stomping drums with duelling medieval guitar riffs and caverns of psychedelic jangle. Sharing their family tree with the likes of Amon Düül II, Sun City Girls and T Rex.
