We're really rather excited that Luke Abbott - Norwich-based electronica boffin signed to the legendary Border Community label - is playing at November's Broad Church. Abbott’s debut album ‘Holkham Drones’ is one of our favourites of this year - an uncategorisable but curiously organic mixture of sounds and influences, taking in everything from techno to krautrock, that he describes as “an hour of patterns, textures, melodies and noises”.

He will be joined very special guest DJ (and his label boss) JAMES HOLDEN. Wow!

We really should rename the night BORDER CHURCH or BROAD COMMUNITY to celebrate (although the latter sounds like the sort of bullshit that Dave Cameron would come up with).

Oh, and remember this is all free. FREE!

It's a Wednesday night too, so there's no excuse. No-one does anything on a Wednesday night!
