AMEN BREAK
With a target demographic of the Didsbury Wine Bar attending, William Burroughs reading, affluent pseudo intellectual, Amen Break fuse a common pop whores melodic sensibility with often failed attempts at rhythmic complexity. These three disparate souls were drawn together by the forces of not wanting to do honest work and Gumtree wanted ads

SINGING AT MANUEL
The band consists of three friendly fellows who have an absolute great appreciation of all musical styles and concepts which is why they are best described as a Fusion band.

Singing at Manuel use genres such as Ska, Reggae, Folk, Soul and Rhythm and Blues as a mere backbone and direction. The rest is a merge of sub-genres and mindful creativity. Rather than pigeon-hole themselves into one or two particular music types they chose to combine those genres and incorporate them into the guitar rhythms, the bass lines or the percussion styles.

As an Acoustic band and a bunch of lively happy chaps, they over come their stereotype of 'chilled out' and instead bring a jokey optimism to their live performances.

All the while, their songs maintain serious visions and messages which have all been lived through and experienced by at least one if not all the band members.

Truth and Honesty is said to be the main ingredient of their stories and to be quite honest, they wouldn't have it any other way.

So that’s the long and short of it folks. Cheers.
Singing at Manuel.

THE BREAKAWAY DUKES
The Breakaway Dukes, were originally a three piece band but due to various reasons bass players have come and gone. And because of our commitment to gigging and rehearsing the decision was made in july to stick to a two piece. Consisting of drums and guitar. Our songs range from bluesy rock to balls out punk, or that something in the middle. With many gigs in the bag the dukes are all fired up and looking for places to shake the walls and move your balls

THE AUTUMN
THE AUTUMN, a two piece acoustic bandfrom Manchester, write songs with a heart. Tired of all the emotionless, unoriginal bands on myspace, Tom (vocals/guitar) and Ell (guitar) made it a priority to create a niche style of music, a well developed blend of acoustic based songs with textured guitar parts and vocals hooks.

The two members have been playing music together in various bands for the majority of their lives, but decided to properly form THE AUTUMN in early 2009.

So far, the band have focused on crafting the best songs possible and now with a small albums worth of tracks recorded (some of which are on the myspace),

THE AUTUMN are now out to get their name out to the masses.
