If there are any Serge Gainsbourg fans out there in Southern California, I wanted to make sure you all knew about the Serge Gainsbourg tribute concert at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend on Sunday, August 28th at 7pm. I’m working with the Bowl and am super excited I’ll be working at the show. The tribute will be led by Jean Claude Vannier, French composer, arranger and longtime Gainsbourg collaborator. The legendary concept album Histoire de Melody Nelson will be performed in full with orchestra and guests, plus more Gainsbourg classics throughout the evening. The guests are pretty awesome:
