Denver's Travis Egedy has been spreading his scuzzy, sexual brand of 90s house & trance across the map to become one of the most prominent figures in American DIY culture. His latest LP ” Thee Physical ” embodies a frayed, ear-bleeding take on 1990s diva-house and electro in it’s best form. Produced and recorded by Egedy and mixed/co-produced by Jupiter Keyes of HEALTH, Pictureplane’s punk rock-like approach to the production and dissemination of his work is democratizing electronic music the same way the Ramones, Minor Threat, and Black Flag liberated rock music in the 70s and 80s.
