So I'm starting a record club in London, inspired by the stuff Glossop record club (https://glossoprecordclub.wordpress.com) does. The idea is: get together, listen to an album in full (no talking, no phones, etc), then have a chat about it afterwards. There'll be a few bonus features (a couple of singles as well, I reckon) but basically it's like a book club but for music, making time to listen to it in full.

Not yet selected a record to begin with but currently veering between something by Townes van Zandt, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists or the Dismemberment Plan, if that sways anyone.
