Hello, so the next one of our regular club things at the Fiddlers Elbow on Malden Road, Camden, will be October 20th – the third Tuesday of the month as usual.

This month we will have a rather unusual sound art choral group called Breathing Space whose previous performances have taken place in the middle of a forest or on a floating geodesic dome in a London dock.

Before that we will have the composer and Touch Records recording artist Aino Tytti who some people may have seen supporting William Basinski and Michael Gira at St. John’s, Hackney last year. He uses a combination of processed fields recordings and homemade synths to make some very atmospheric sounds.

Second on the bill will be the improvising duo of Cath Roberts and Anton Hunter, going by the name Ripsaw Catfish. Cath plays sax, Anton plays electric guitar. And, as usual, first on will be Far Rainbow. We released our debut tape album earlier this year and it received some positive notices from The Wire and Avant Music News. My favourite review came from Paul Margree’s We Need No Swords blog.
