I don't know what has changed since last week, but from today, when I open a thread on the message board, only the first post in the thread shows, then there is a 6 minute wait, while the message "Waiting for platform.twitter.com ..." is displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the browser, before the rest of the thread is shown.

This happens on both Firefox 3.6.4 and Internet Explorer 7.
