little tapestry goes west
Hello folks
some tickets still available
http://www.wegottickets.com/event/34333
or send a cheque made payable to tapestry to 26 aldenham house, aldenham st , London, nw1 1pr with an s.a.e.
As you may l know sadly tapestry goes west was cancelled this year due to the costs involved rising
,a mini one can now go ahead, same time and place but under a different license which is limited to 350 after the bands and helpers are accounted for , so now it really is a boutique festival, well more kiosk really , still have loads of great bands though not all of those advertised as its just the one stage , but a couple of surprises might happen too , full line-up to be announced shortly
Tickets for the event are £30,to reflect the smaller bill plus; camping £5 per person per night, and will go on sale at tapestry this Friday , st Aloysius,nw1(with the magnificent smokey angle shades)
we are opening up early to sell tickets at 6pm, and will sell them till place shuts at 12.30 ish , you wont have to pay to get into the gig if you’re not sticking around .
If you live a long way out of town or can’t get someone to pick one up for you on Friday get in touch at tapestry_club@yahoo.co.uk and we’ll try to sort something out, we’ve held a few aside for this reason.
This is so regulars can buy tickets before the event is advertised
After the club on Friday any tickets left over will go on general sale via wegottickets, etc wouldn’t risk leaving that long if you’re keen though.
Cheap trains still available see; www.firstgreatwestern.com then put in times say 1pm Friday 8th till 1pm sunday 10th from Paddington to port Talbot should still be able to get 2 singles for 33 quid total then it’s a long walk ( 3 miles) or short cab/bus ride to site
So far re-confirmed diagonal, Wolf people, smokey angle shades, zevas and pepper, kitty daisy and lewis, jim jones review , beep seals, watch this space as license only arrived today so just calling people now, probably be about 15 bands rather than the advertised 30
This might be the smallest/cheapest festival in the uk
Reckon it’ll be the best one yet though
Lots of love tapestry
