Camden Crawl 2010

eoin [Edit] [Delete] 15:12, 30 April '10

I notice there hasn't been much recent discussion of the Crawl and wonder about people's opinion of its current form. Do most people see it as something that has become overly commercialised and a blatant attempt at trying to replicate the CMJ or SXSW format?

As it takes place on my doorstep, I feel an urge to attend. I went last year and enjoyed three things in particular: visiting venues I'd never been to before, afternoon comedy sessions (Patrick Monahan and Tom Bell were exceptional) and seeing local bands that I hadn't yet encountered because I'm always showing up late to gigs and missing the support slots.

Any thoughts?
