Black Helicopter - on Ecstatic Peace
This band really does now need more attention. I heard bits of its first LP last year, downloaded from this site
Listen to Bitch Move, it's a corker.
Now on Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace label they really should start picking up more of an audience. I want to see them come to England god damn! I got new album Invisible Jet the other day and its even better than the first.
They have a great raw guitar sound but are a farely conventional alternative rock band kinda Girls Against Boys in places. The lyrics are written from the point of view of a guy that used to come into the store where the singer worked and spouted forth his knowledge of government conspiracies, the New World Order (hence the name of the band) and how to treat women. Very amusing some of it.
Check it out. I can't recommend them enough. And no, I'm not using the other silly board.
