Genuinely amazing. They don't get the credit they deserve, they really don't.

I'm listening to 'Diary' right now, and being reminded that it's one of the most complete, heartwarming and downright enjoyable albums I've ever heard. Ever.

Enigk's voice is so, so special - one of those voices that instantly does things to you. You know what I mean. On the edge of breaking but holding itself together by a ragged thread. Truly amazing.

I'd love everyone in the world to be issued with a copy of this record at birth. The world would be so much better if everyone knew what I was on about.

An amzing band. And as good as his (Jeremy) solo stuff is, and as middlingly acceptable as The Fire Theft are, my one musical dream is for them to reform. That would make me so, so happy.
