Band of Horses gets strong consideration till I remember the main dude bailed on the band. Or at least I think that's right. But anyhow's and never mind cos they don't quite get my vote regardless.

Autolux. A shoegazey- pop album which deftly shows off the power of the drummer chick's (Carla something) pipes as well as behind the kit. Future Perfect is a mandatory purchase for any self-respecting indie schmindie wannabe...like you 'n me's.
