I heard the new Killers single for the first time yesterday and was pretty pleased with it.

It's the kind of ridiculously pompous over-blown 80s-style AOR pop-rock I want to hear from successful bands releasing comeback singles.

I mean it's never gonna be one of my favourite songs but it's the kind of enjoyable ridiculousness that I'd like to see much more of (rather than say Razorlight's disappointingly limp "In the Morning".
