What do people think of LSE (The Quad) as a venue? Does it have a good sound? Is it a cool place to see bands, generally? I know the drinks are really cheap (student prices).

The only band I've seen play there was Hella, and it was really fucking loud (and properly wicked) and crazy...so probably not the best gig to judge. I'm trying to think of venues in the 400-600 capacity range. LSE and KCSLU seem the best.

Any advice or comments gratefully received.
