They're one of these bands that is always mentioned in these 'favourite albums ever' threads, but I'd never heard them until I checked their MySpace about 47 seconds ago.

How confusing are you Drowned in Sound users? I can't really say what I expected, but it definitely was not what I heard.

It sounds like pretty basic indie rock. Not taking anything away from it by saying this, but DiS seems to have a kind of 'unless its fresh, its crap' policy that people mark bands up to.

So does more or less everybody here like them? I think they sound dated, and almost... dare I say it... similar to Ash.
