So this is my latest big find. I've got myself the 'welcome to my world' compilation, 'lost and found' and 'the early recordings vol 1' - so kind of a random selection, his oldest and newest albums. the new one's kind of poo. the band he's with are very normal and the songs seem a little restrained and conventional. both the others are great though i can't listen to all of 'early recordings' in one go too much hiss and shitty sounding piano.

however i'm pretty much in love with this guy's songs and style. It just has so much heart and melody to it. really awesome songwriting. it affirms my solid belief that a good song is a good song however it's played and however it sounds.

SO, who else like D.J. and which album would you recommend humble layman me?
