a live one. not just some admittedly fantastic new songs. live. replacements. in my face. i know that tim and let it be would clearly have been my gateway albums if i'd been born 10 years earlier. damn their dirty eyes for being around before my time.

i am praying that the whigs will realise how amazing they were whilst in the studio doing the new tracks for their rhino comp so that maybe i'll at least see one of the US alt rock bands that i foolishly missed.

i would also say jeff buckley, who played at portsmouth fugging wedgewood rooms, and faith no more, who i missed by about 2 months. damn me.
