I'm planning on going to SXSW with a mate next year, and am currently looking into the logistics. If any of you have been I have a question:

- is it worth spending the $450 on a music pass if you just want to go to the gigs. It seems like tickets are on sale for plenty of the gigs and lots of stuff overlaps, so I was wondering
If we'd be ok just buying selected tickets in advance then looking round for at the time?

Any other advice would be muchly appreciated
