This is a serious plea to all you good good people (that was an unintentional embrace reference, please don't hate me).

PLEASE HELP...

Me and my band are coming down to London, from our Edinburgh home, on the 24th/25th November to play some gigs. We had been due to play at Goldsmiths Uni on the friday nite (24th) but that may have just been scuppered by a faulty events manager. So, we're basically looking for a venue which will house us and expose us to many people. Being an ex-Londonite, i'll be bringing a few folk along, but it'd be cool to have non-knowers there so that our trip down south is well worth it. As you'll appreciate the longer we leave it, the less likely a decent venue. Any club nights/support slots/general tips & suggestions would be gratefully received...

Also, the saturday night, which said events manager was supposed to be organising is still in the balance so help for that one would also be cool.

PS We're a guitar band who probably sound like a million others, but we're trying to be different. I don't mind if you hate our music, we're just looking for some assistance in our London gig quest.
