? I'm trying to make a mixtape for my friend's birthday and want to fill it with happy songs...about birthday, friendship, party, good times etc.

But I just realised all the stuff I like are about death, break-ups, love-lost, loneliness...</emo>

So far I've only got:
Brakes - All night disco party
Death Cab - The new year
The Lucksmiths - T-shirt weather
Sugarcubes - Birthday
Islands - when there's a will, there's a whalebone
maybe a Ramones song as well.

i'm stuck, any suggestions? or I'll just do one about summer instead
