Having only heard a handful or tracks that I found on limewire (5 off Inches, 4 off Go Forth, 2 off Rome) I don't get the huge fuss.

They just sound sorta like what the Rapture (sorry) should sound like or something with a bit of and ATDI thrown in occasionally. Quite good, but not especcially original or anything. Do I need to see them live to understand?
