I am sad. We saw them tonight blow away a hole into dear old Tufnell Park. They are no more.

The most consistant brilliant live band I have seen. In the 3 years I have lived near Tufnell Park I have seen them in their monthly residency about 4-5 times a year and they get me every time.

It is the way the band play - it is music that has been played before - these guys do it with so much more talent. The albums don't do anything for me but I love them live.

I am rambling I know. But I am sad that a truly great band has gone.

There were too many wankers there tonight, too many guys chatting about bullshit, but the band did overcome it. It might've been because I moved between the horrible bar queues and the floor but for a gig that was sold out I heard "Who is this then?" once too often. They should have done this gig at the Dirty Water Club.

But, the band was awesome as they always are live. Were? That pains me.
