Seems a bit on the shallow side to me.

It lacks the wit of old in any of the lyrics and is musically very basic and predictable in its structure.

I had hoped the stripped down Jarvis might provide some even darker output to that on show on This is Hardcore.

What's on offer seems to be a selection of hummable yet ultimately forgettable pieces that would have been lucky to have made Pulp b-sides.

Very very disappointing.
