Bond, James Bond
This just in. Pierce Brosnan is 86'd as 007. I wasn't consulted on this cock-up. Look for, Pierce calls Barbara Broccoli a "stupid old cow" in the next National Enquirer. UK bookmakers have Ewan McGregor, and Dourgray Scott* as odds-on favs. I'd have thought the better looking than sin English charmer Jude Law. Colin Farrell not interested; Clive Owens* goes into the also-ran category.
* Never heard of 'em.
Two parter: Best and Worst James Bond theme songs and who ought to get a shot for the next one?
Me: 1. Spy Who Loved Me - Carly Simon 2. Shirley Bassey from movie title/song I can't remember 3. Thunderball - Tom Jones 4. Live and Let Die - Paul McCartney 5. The World is Not Enough - Garbage.
The Duran Duran 'View to a Kill' is pretty good. I am definately not a Tina Turner fan but Goldeneye is alright. I shall give a-Ha honors as Worst Bond song (Living Daylights, was it?).
Gonna say Coldplay has a style that'd work well for a theme song. And fellas, can we agree the opening credits of scantily clad models floating with guns and martini glasses are alone worth the price of admission? ;-)
