so the first disc of the performance series came out on monday, live at fillmore east with the horse, fucking LOVELY. only a short set but a great start to the series. apparently the next one is gonna be an early seventies acoustic show, and then later next year the first archives box will come out with all the rarities from the late 60s to about 72. I AM EXCITED. i dont think i've ever been so excited about somebodys rarities coming out.

the dvd version of Fillmore is quite nice too, great mix of photos playing whilst you listen, and some nice extras on it too. RECOMMENDED.
