Unfair Manics bashing

tre_cools_sticks [Edit] [Delete] 11:48, 24 November '04
Thanks for reading this if you care: I think all the really harsh critisism the Manics have been dealed out in the past month is really unjustified. All this bollocks about "one album split" etc, just let it go! People and times change, so its to be expected. All these journalists have probably changed their objectives and ethics over the years, but no one knows through their secretive silences. It's not like the Manics have started making "pop" music and selling brand names, its just their view points on things have changed since they were 19-20 - big surprise there! "Lifeblood" takes a few listens to get into, but once you are, its sublime. Awash with piano, lovely vocal melodies, its a chill out and reflective piece of work. If you want them to redo THB, good luck with that. No one could ever remake a classic, not even them. People and times change, rol with it and all these people who claim to be fans and arent know, why dont you give the music and art a chance before you take on NME's cack handed approach on the subject.
