Jon Chapple, bespectacled bass behemoth, has decided to move on from mclusky. Singer Andy Falkous and drummer Jack Egglestone will continue work on what was to become the fourth mclusky album next year. They will not employ usage of a combined double-necked bass and guitar. An as yet untitled interim release planned for May collecting together the bands singles and b-sides will now serve instead to underscore the immaculate oeuvre that is mcluskys recorded work. As for the mighty force that was a mclusky live appearance we can only lament. That is until we scrape together enough below par footage for a DVD.
Wasn't it Yazz that proclaimed 'The Only Way Is Up'"
