dominic masters the fantasist

random [Edit] [Delete] 10:32, 21 January '05
this is on poptones' website. it's a sunday mail interview with dominic masters. sorry if has already been posted, but i felt physically sick when i read this and needed to share:

'THEIR debut album isn't even out yet but The Others reckon they'll be superstars by 2006.

'Frontman Dominic Masters said: 'Our album is the Definitely Maybe of the 00s.

''I think it's a classic - but I suppose I'm biased because I wrote all the lyrics.

''I think we'll sell 100,000 copies. Alan McGee thinks so and I'm happy to back him.'

'He added: 'It's a good working class album. I don't think it's the kind of thing that appeals to rich kids. It's about stuff people can relate to.''

'working class'??????? doesn't appeal to rich kids? er do they listen to the others on council estates? what a fuckwit. incidentally there's a video clip on poptones' website of a 'guerilla gig' by the others, featuring their fans talking about how ace they are, and strangely they're all well-spoken middle class girls
