Deerhoof are hands down my favourite band right now and without doubt one of the most excitingly different bands mainly due to how inventive and creative they are with their musical ideas and their constant striving to push the boundaries, blur the boundaries and deny that the boundaries even exist, so we're thrilled to be able to put them on at the Irish Centre on 27th June 2007.

You just HAVE to see this band while they are over here on tour!

Their new album, Friend Opportunity came out at the end of Janurary and is currently setting the world alight!

Field Music come from Sunderland from the same stables as Maximo Park and The Futureheads, one third of the band previously played drums in The Futureheads. These guys are master songsmiths with an eclectic collection of 1980's influenced indie pop in their second album 'Tones of Town' which
was released on 22/01/07 (the day after Deerhoof's latest album was released).

Then come Quack Quack who mesmerize audiences with their tribal drums and morphing bass and keyboard melodies, definitely gonna be good having them through a beast of a PA.
