CDJs for dummies

dove_from_above [Edit] [Delete] 02:47, 16 May '07

Right, I'm gonna get me some decks in about a month or so. But I could not be less knowledgable on the subject

Obviously I don't want a bunch of crap, but equally I'm not exactly after top of the range equipment full of knobs and twitches that I'll never understand

Is it wise to just order a pre-arranged set-up from somewhere? Initial inspection suggests that I'd be looking at £1300-£1500 for the kind of thing (I think) I'm after. Does that sound about right?

Or is much cheaper and more advisable to order it all seperately?

Anybody got any ideas on decent/user-friendly mixers and decks?

I'm fully aware that this thread could sink without a trace. Somebody, anybody, please be a hero here
