longtime no listen

soapy [Edit] [Delete] 20:20, 28 March '05
im still on the "albums i aint heard in ages" trip thats led to me rediscovering the joys of Iron Maiden , Tim Buckley and old Idlewild - todays big entrant:
alive or just breathing by killswitch engage

iv owned this album since it came out back in 02 but i never noticed that it has some pretty positive lyrics - in a hardcore "youll never break us down" vein. the music as well, f**king hell, to think that this came out in the days of numetal no wonder its hailed as a classic of the new millenium.
jesse is such a better vocalist than howard...their styles arent miles apart but it just seems like theres a whole other level of passion in his delivery on this album compared to howard on the new one.

any thoughts ?
any rediscoverys of your own ?
anyone upset cos this is a thread about liking something not hating it like usual ?
