*UNDERrated UK ROCK! cockface!*
Hi, What do i mean by under-rated? what is its meaning within the world of UK rock? Does it mean that your band gets only the smallest colum inches in outsider mags like Metal Hammer, Rocksound or Play Music? Or does it mean that you have to stay up till 3.13am to watch your 'video' you made with your friends for like, £600!? Does it mean your still have to work at Debenhams p/time to pay for the Marshall stack your still owe £'s on!? Or maybe you have to tour and gig sporadicly because your still have to finish your studies of somekind?! Only have 58 users on your websites messageboard? or On a weiner record label that is run out of a porter cabin in a backyard somewhere in Oxford? I dunno: But here are SOME of the nominees for most UNDER-rated UK rock acts:
Jetplane Landing - Practically veterans now and still considered 'underground'. lame
Reuben - These guys are SO humble, you can almost see in advance major labs fucking their mouths! super lame.
Kill Kenada - are they bored or something? They dont gig that much, but when they do! Have a lot of interest state-side!! We dont wanna loose em! go on Double dragon - sign em up like you sed you were in 2004!!
Queen Andrea - Great Live shows, awsome album - still half the band are part-timers! weak.
Winnebago Deal - Two Piece work-a-holics that totally rock the best Black Flag covers: I AM HONOURED to be in Flack Blag! see their dates: 6th Ap - Garage w/High On Fire and 28th @ Barfly w/Brant Bjork!!
80's matchbox - I still reckon theyre under-rated! OK so they have their tunes in cool movies like Saun of the Dead and QOTSA ALL say they really like em. They need to write more!
Gin Palace - RAD rock n Roll nuff said!
