I'm not a huge fan of John Lennon's solo stuf but I think this is an incredible song.

But my perception is that massive numbers of people miss the point of it (thinking John Lennon's promoting the idea of being a 'working class hero' rather than savaging it). How? Did they just not listen to the record?
