Critics Say Nay, Me Sez Yea!

oceanRain [Edit] [Delete] 00:20, 21 April '05
Let's face it. Nothing pleases us more than when Pitchfork gives a glowing review to our favorite records. Cos Pitchfork is cool and it's like some sort of vindication. Certainly we can't get the neighbor kid to appreciate the genius of our taste in music, eh? ;-)

But sometimes the bastards that write for Pitchfork and DiS are way fucking off!

Me:
The new ToD World's Apart was panned on Pitchfork, NME and everywhere. Morons!
Pitchfork trashes the Dandy Warhols. Idiots!!
Japan has been called one of the worst bands ever. OK, maybe after Adolescent Sex and Obscure Alternatives...but not these two, surely!
Led Zeppelin never got a good review in their career. This may be the only time in modern history where the critics totally fucked up and the public were right.

Please feel free to use the NME as your ordinarily cool source for reviews, however let's not let this thread evole into more bird jokes. :-)
