Shameless jag alert. Me, my friend Lauren (aka DiSer NowToNebraska) plus a few others are putting on a show in Manchester tonight, and we strongly think everyone in the vicinity should attend. The bands are:

Ladybird - who share members with Francois's Atlas Mountains, along with a similarly chipper French indie-pop vibe. Highly dancable and infectious fun.

Ray Rumours - aka Ros, from Electrelane. Sweet lo-fi songs about London and staying in and drinking tea. All very lovely.

Arctic Circle - who were recently seen at the Green Man festival. A bit Bearsuit, a bit Belle and Sebastian, all genius.

And it's only £3! That's like a pound a band. It's at The Bowling Green pub on Grafton Street. Which has an in-house massive dog called Jake who'll you'll also get to meet if you make it down. So, in conclusion - come!
