I know it's approaching that time of year again. Last night though I was in my bedroom rearranging my vinyl and found an unmarked cdr and stuck it on. It was a John Peel show from about 2003/2004. Just listened for the 80 mins while sorting out my vinyl and it was the perfect accompaniment. I know it's been done to death but the critics just didn't get it or used to but were no longer music fans, more media rentagobs now. It was like having a best mate you'd never really met playing you stuff from his amazing collection several nights a week. To me he was like a story teller through music and is sorely missed in this house and I'll be forever grateful for the musical paths he led me down
