baritone guitar

alcxxk [Edit] [Delete] 20:15, 27 September '07

i've decided that playing *really* tight rhythmically isn't really for me, so i'm giving up on dreams of being a particularly good bassist, also my hands are too small.

but i still like lower end guitar sounds and finger picking, and the ability to make loud, heavy noises, so i think i need a baritone guitar in my life.

questions:
1) will my small girly hands make baritone playing impossible? can you get short scale baritones?

2) what are good baritone guitars and where can you get them? i like the look of danelectro ones, but the danelectro site doesnt recognise their existence

also, i like That Fucking Tank and The Evens, but who else is using them as a core of their sound nowadays?
