Music Social More…

A true blue-collar band for the people.

wrightylew [Edit] [Delete] 19:29, 28 September '07

Why is singing in a regional accent seen as 'music for the people'?

Since when did 'the people' start only liking music sung by people who speak like them?

Reverend and The Makers are the latest Soccer AM band. The bassline in that song down there is pretty good, but its ultimately wasted on a band who's selling point is the fact they're ladz.

Secondly, who would you say are 'the people'? Is it those of us who work shit jobs and live in tiny houses?

When I release my debut album, I'm going to ask people to market it as 'music above scum like you'. It'll sell like hot cakes.
