They don't really get as much attention as say, the Beatles or the Stones, and the only songs that seem to get recognised are You Really Got Me and Waterloo Sunset.

I'd much rather listen to the Kinks than t'Beatles or t'Stones, and I think a lot of their 'lesser known' songs are much better than the famous ones mentioned above.
