As far as Mancunian prog-rock goes Amplifier shit all over Oceansize. Not to say I dislike Oceansize, all three albums have their own merits and are a pleasure to listen to. But Amplifier just do it all with more style, charisma and tuneage. I've yet to hear Oceansize produce anything as extravagant and masterful as 'Airborne'.
