I'm very happy about this. And he's not allowed to make a song about the crime he was jailed for. This is also a good thing. Can't wait to hear what Noir Désir are going to come up with next. The guy's not going to have it easy though, he's already received two death threats!

For those who don't know Noir Désir and Bertrand Cantat they are probably the french equivalent of Radiohead in terms of respectability/artistic integrity/musical wanderings/commercial success. Cantat, the lead singer, was jailed for accidentally killing his girlfriend 5 years ago.
