do i think this is actually the most brilliant album of all time???

i think i do.

it's mindblowingly well put together, brilliantly produced, so planet-eatingly expansive. to think that it probably wouldn't even exist without Stax losing their entire back catalogue to Atlantic shows that all clouds do have silver linings. even the cover is remarkably forward thinking.

it saddens me that there won't ever be another record like it.
