I've been involved with labels and that, but I've never taken the plunge to run one myself...until now. just a few questions for the likes of john_brainlove et al, namely about distribution and the like. friendship with talented and somewhat reknown musicians gives me a slight advantage (I would hope) when it comes to sorting this, but what are the ins and outs of getting distro up and running - is it simply a case of contacting the puregrooves and rough trades of the world or what?
